Dr. Paul A. Byrne is a Board Certified Neonatologist and Pediatrician. He is the Founder of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. He is Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of Toledo, College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Fellowship of Catholic Scholars. Dr. Byrne is past-President of the Catholic Medical Association (USA), formerly Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO and Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He is author and producer of the film “Continuum of Life” and author of the books “Life, Life Support and Death,” “Beyond Brain Death,” and “Is ‘Brain Death’ True Death?” Dr. Byrne has presented testimony on “life issues” to nine state legislatures beginning in 1967. He opposed Dr. Kevorkian on the television program “Cross-Fire.” He has been interviewed on Good Morning America, public television in Japan and participated in the British Broadcasting Corporation Documentary “Are the Donors Really Dead?” Although the medical profession declares patients “brain dead,” often following an accident, Dr. Byrne insisted there’s no such thing. "Brain death" was false, he said. “Brain death was a lie from the beginning. It has always been a lie. "Brain death" is not true death,” he continued. Organ transplant is the reason you have to have brain death. Dr. Byrne said this term crept into the medical profession following the world’s first heart transplant in 1968. It has since been defined and redefined and is now being replaced by another term known as cardiac death, he noted. He said donated organs, without exception, must come from a living person. Within minutes of “true death,” which, he explained, is the cessation of circulation and respiration, the organs will begin to die. This is why, when organs are removed from a donor, the beating heart is always taken last. You cannot get any organs from cadavers, he noted. If you’re really dead, then no organs can be extracted. He also pointed out the differences between living and dead patients. One example is cooling the body. This slows metabolism in someone who is alive. It slows destruction in a corpse. He said a ventilator, which pushes air into the body, can only be used on someone who’s living, as the person exhales the air. Also, if you cut the skin of someone who’s living, but declared “brain dead,” the wound will heal, something that won’t happen in a dead person. Clearly there’s a difference, said Dr. Byrne. Dr. Bryne went on to describe the damage that can result when doctors perform an “apnea test,” which often sets the stage for organ donation. This is when a ventilator is removed, prematurely, for 10 minutes, to see if a person can breathe on their own. This process, which he called “suffocation,” typically results in the person’s conditioning worsening, he said. Peymon Mottahedeh, Founder and President of Freedom Law School, was born into a Jewish family in Iran. What does the City of Okeechobee decide to do right before a Category 4 hurricane slams the state? They ban the sale of firearms and ammunition! Yup. That’s right. No guns, no ammo, when people need them the most. The absolute irony here is beyond words. People are on their own, with no emergency services available, and the first thing the government does is make it harder for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. It’s not like criminals are taking a break! They still have their guns. They’re not walking into stores asking politely for ammo. Meanwhile, the guy who realizes he’s completely vulnerable? Yeah, he's screwed. Now, for the people conveniently forget when tyranny happens, let us not forget what happened in New Orleans in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina—when government officials went door-to-door confiscating guns from law-abiding citizens 'for their own safety. The Okeechobee Police Chief thought making it harder for people to defend their homes and families was a good idea. And what reason do they give? What justification? They just wanted to make it 'safer,' they say. Safe from what? Safe from the people trying to defend themselves? According to FPC, Governor DeSantis stepped in and said, 'Not today.' He told the Okeechobee Sheriff’s Office to rescind the order. If this is true, I applaud him for that—I truly do. But the real issue is that this even happened in the first place. And to those who say, 'No one’s trying to take your guns,' or 'We just want common sense gun laws,' where are you now? You don’t hear a peep from these politicians when this happens. They don’t condemn these unconstitutional acts. They stay silent because they don’t really care about your rights. Canada's federal gun buyback program has racked up a jaw-dropping $67.2 million bill since 2020, yet not a single firearm has been collected. This program, aimed at compensating AR-15 owners after the government banned them, still lacks key details—four years later. With over 150,000 prohibited AR-15s in Canada, Canadian gun owners have until October 2025 to hand them in, deactivate them, or get rid of them. Oh, and $11.5 million? That’s just what they’ve paid consultants to handle the logistics, communications, and other services. Still, not one AR-15 has been collected. When the government starts talking about 'buybacks' or 'bans,' they're not just screwing you by taking away your rights; they're screwing you and making you pay for it. It’s a double slap in the face. If YOU own a SCAR, a gun that runs around $4,000, do you honestly think they’re going to hand you four grand to buy it back? They’re offering pennies on the dollar, maybe a couple hundred bucks at best. So now you're losing out on the money you spent on that gun, and on top of that, they’re using your tax dollars to pay for this entire mess. So you're getting hit twice.
