What to do When You Are Discouraged Tired and Want to Quit Lessons from David Wilkerson Sermon. I received a word from the Lord this week that i wanted to share with you that will build you up and encourage you. I have been going through a difficult few weeks and felt a bit discouraged. So i spent some time with the Lord in prayer. I felt the Holy Spirit speak to my heart the word "confidence". It started to make me feel much better because i knew i could trust in the Lord and have confidence in him. Then i turned on You Tube a few minutes later and David Wilkerson started teaching on confidence. David Wilkerson gave the Bible verse Hebrews 10:35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. David Wilkerson was preaching on the same word God spoke to my heart. SO this word is for those who are feeling discouraged, destressed, disillusioned, tired and want to quit. I would like to bring you hope and faith today that you can have confidence in the Lord. I go through a few parts of David Wilkerson sermon that will help you get through a tough season in life. The Lord wants us not to trust in ourselves, in others but to wait on him for our salvation. While we are waiting on the Lord and find satisfaction in him alone we can forget about the reason we were seeking him in the first place. The Lord is our portion and great reward. God will grant us the desires of our hearts but God doesn't often tell us "when" he will fulfill his promises. God wants to take us to our promise land but in the process we learn that he is our promise land himself. I will end the video with pray for those who are going through a difficult season in life. David Wilkerson was one of the greatest man of God in our generation and his preaching offers so much wisdom. He was the Pastor and Founder of Times Square Church in NYC.
