It’s hard to overstate what a conniving disaster Mark Carney has already proven himself to be, just days into his stint as Canada’s Prime Minister. Take his latest scheme: pushing Canada to diversify trade with the European Union, a move he’s dressing up as some grand economic strategy. What’s the catch? According to this guy, one of the requirements to grovel our way into the EU’s good graces is slapping an industrial carbon tax on Canadian businesses. Yep, Carney’s out there peddling the idea that we need to choke our industries with more green tape—just so we can beg Europe to buy our LNG while countries like Qatar and Russia waltz in without bothering with this nonsense. It’s a delusional flex from a man who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else, and it’s going to kneecap Canadian competitiveness when we’re already getting hammered by Trump’s tariffs. And then there’s his slimy little trick with the carbon tax. On March 14, 2025, his first day in the big chair, Carney strutted out and crowed about “eliminating” the consumer carbon price—you know, the one Trudeau jammed down our throats that’s been jacking up gas and heating bills. Sounds great, right? Except it’s a total sham. He didn’t cancel the tax; he just cranked it down to zero percent with a regulatory sleight-of-hand. That’s right—this weasel kept the whole rotten framework in place so he can crank it back up whenever he feels like it, no pesky legislation required. He’s banking on Canadians being too dumb to notice he’s just biding his time to stab them in the back again. Why the half-measure? Because Carney’s playing both sides like the slippery operator he is. He wants the applause for ditching the tax—trying to outmaneuver Pierre Poilievre, who’s been screaming to axe it for years—while keeping his eco-warrior credentials intact for his fancy European pals. This is the same guy who, on his March 17 trip to France and the UK, couldn’t stop preening about Canada being “the most European of non-European countries,” all while dodging questions about his own fat bank accounts. He’s got the nerve to lecture us on sacrifice when he’s jetting around, cozying up to EU elites who’ll happily tariff our exports into oblivion unless we dance to their tune. The hypocrisy’s bad enough, but the damage is worse. By pushing this industrial carbon tax garbage, he’s setting up Canadian businesses to get crushed—right when we need to fight back against Trump’s trade war. And that zeroed-out consumer tax? Don’t be fooled—it’s a loaded gun he’s itching to fire the second he thinks we’ve forgotten his promises. Carney’s not here to lead; he’s here to scheme, posture, and sell us out to his globalist buddies. Call him what he is: a sneaky weasel who’ll say one thing, do another, and jack up whatever taxes he damn well pleases when it suits him.

Also known as the “America the Beautiful” program, it was a plan to place 30 percent of America’s land under conservation by the year 2030—essentially locking up a lot of America’s real estate for ostensibly environmental reasons. One avenue through which the federal government was attempting to do this was to have the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) create an entirely new class of assets called natural asset companies. This move would have created a new class of company that would then allow investors to purchase the rights to millions of acres of public federal lands, as well as private lands under easement contracts. Essentially, it would have turned much of the natural resources (such as air, sunlight, and photosynthesis) on America’s land into a tradable stock, open to all investors—including our geopolitical adversaries. Furthermore, the creation of these “natural asset companies” would have effectively locked up these lands, making it illegal for any entity to conduct any type of financially motivated activity on those lands—such as mining, drilling, farming, ranching, grazing, hunting, fishing, harvesting timber, and so on. It would essentially take American land out of useful economic production. And the cherry on top of all of this was the fact that the SEC’s planned rule change seemed to go under the radar—with very little fanfare and with a very short public comment period. However, it was Margaret Byfield and her organization, the American Stewards of Liberty, who spearheaded the effort to kill this rule before it went into effect. But while the SEC rule was canned, the idea of locking up U.S. land has morphed into something called “natural capital accounts,” which are now being created to quantify nature’s value and list those values as new assets of the federal government. We had a chance to sit down and speak with Byfield about what this all means for the average U.S. citizen, as well as her efforts to fight back against what she calls encroachments on our liberty. The timeline encompasses almost all of the Phanerozoic -- the geologic eon that began with the emergence of multicellular, non-microscopic organisms and continues today. It portrays a global climate that was more dynamic and extreme than researchers had imagined and, in keeping with decades of past research on climate, the chart hews closely to estimates of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, with temperatures rising in proportion to concentrations of the heat-trapping gas. The study also makes clear that the conditions humans are accustomed to are quite different from those that have dominated our planet's history. For most of the Phanerozoic, the research suggests, average temperatures have exceeded 71.6 F (22 C), with little or no ice at the poles. Coldhouse climates -- including our current one -- prevailed just 13 percent of the time. One of the more sobering revelations of the research is that life on Earth has endured climates far hotter than the one people are now creating through planet-warming emissions. But humans evolved during the coldest epoch of the Phanerozoic, when global average temperatures were as low as 51.8 F (11 C). The new temperature timeline raises questions as well as answers, though it is considered more accurate than other estimates. The timeline was assembled through a technique called data assimilation, which combines real-world evidence from 150,000 oceanic data points with climate models to yield more rigorous and accurate results. But it's also possible that the data assimilation assumes too much warming and is missing factors that might forestall a runaway greenhouse effect. For the billions of people who are now living through the hottest years ever recorded -- and facing a hotter future still -- the timeline should serve as a wake-up call. Even under the worst-case scenarios, human-caused warming will not push the Earth beyond the bounds of habitability. But it will create conditions unlike anything seen in the 300,000 years our species has existed -- conditions that could wreak havoc through ecosystems and communities. As Emily Judd, a researcher at University of Arizona and the Smithsonian specializing in ancient climates and the lead author of the study said, "As long as one or two organisms survive, there will always be life. Remember the last time the globalists took the mask off? In the two years since the failure of the covid pandemic narrative I have argued that globalist organizations are trying to regroup under a new plan. The evidence suggests that these people suffered a shocking revelation after their attempt to implement perpetual medical tyranny. They’ve realized they don’t have as much control over the flow of information and public discourse as they originally assumed. . Even with full-spectrum censorship using algorithms to bury contrary data, even with the full force of the government partnering with social media to silence dissent, even with the threat of economic exile for anyone refusing to take a steady series of mRNA jabs, they still failed. The truth about covid’s minimal Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) still spread, along with data proving the uselessness of the mandates and lockdowns. There was nothing they could do about it. . Their golden ticket to total control was pushing the vaccine passport concept; the alternative media crushed that agenda like a pestilent cockroach. If the passport had been successful we would not be having this conversation now. Everyone would be in fear of having their passport rescinded. Everyone would be afraid to lose their economic access for saying the wrong thing. Everyone would be afraid of being forced into covid camps (which were indeed a real agenda). Or, we would be in the middle of a bloody civil war. . The events of 2020 were meant to initiate the ultimate coup against humanity. The globalists admitted to their plans over and over again. Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum proudly declared covid the catalyst for the “Great Reset” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.” They asserted that the lockdowns were just the beginning and that the sweeping restriction on our freedoms would be extended to climate change as well. . They thought they had won without firing a shot, but it’s not that easy. Far more people are awake and aware of their motives than they realized, and, at least in America, over 50 million of those people are armed. The lockdowns are now gone, almost no one took the vax boosters, far fewer people took the vaccine than the CDC claims, and the vax passports were defeated. This victory was made possible due to the efforts of alternative media platforms circumventing Big Tech censorship. It’s that simple. . This is why the next event will probably be far worse in scale and consequence, and the globalists are already attempting to rectify their previous mistake of underestimating citizen journalism. They will try to silence us if they can and they are openly admitting to it in recent conferences and mainstream articles. The mask is coming off once more and this suggests to me that something very bad is about to happen. . As I noted in 2023 in my article ‘From Covid To Climate Change: Vehicles For Global Authoritarianism’, the globalists seem to have shifted their more tyrannical efforts away from the pandemic and into the climate discourse. If you really want to know what they are up to these days, you have to watch the climate conferences. . At the end of September there was a host of climate change summits including one held by the WEF in New York called the Sustainable Development Impact Meeting. It was held by the WEF in tandem with the United Nations General Assembly. Not surprisingly, discussion often veered away from climate into “threats to democracy” as well as bitter complaints about the “spread of disinformation.” . John Kerry, former Democratic presidential candidate, former Climate Czar under Joe Biden and a longtime participant in the WEF, said the quiet part out loud at the summit. He argued that the 1st Amendment was a “roadblock” to proper governance and was preventing the elites from controlling public consensus. . A home security camera captured a dog in Oklahoma unintentionally starting a house fire after chewing on a portable lithium-ion battery power bank. In the footage from the Tulsa Fire Department in Oklahoma, two dogs and a cat are seen in the living room. One dog chews on the battery pack, causing it to spark and ignite a fire. The pets escaped uninjured through a dog door, and the family was safely evacuated.

America’s energy needs are surging with no viable options in the short term. Meanwhile, the lithium batteries in our homes and cars are found to be riskier than once thought.

Authorities in South Korea have released footage of the explosion which caused a deadly factory fire at the Aricell plant in Hwaseong city, south of the capital Seoul. In the footage, a stack of lithium batteries can be seen smoking, then exploding and bursting into flames. Workers can be seen hurrying to move the smoking batteries, before attempting to extinguish the resulting fire but being forced back by the explosions. 23 people were killed in Monday’s fire, the majority of whom were Chinese nationals, while several workers were seriously injured. It remains unclear what triggered the initial explosions, according to fire officials.

Volvo is the latest carmaker that is ditching its plan to sell all electric cars by 2030. That's because it was never a fully baked plan. Charging stations are expensive, often powered by wasteful power plants, and too scarce to depend upon. Also, consumers just don't want them.

Under Justin Trudeau, Canada has sought to position itself as the global bastion of progressive politics. In my latest Telegraph documentary, seen above, I went to the former British colony to find out how Canadians are dealing with Trudeau’s radical reforms; from the promotion of gender ideology in schools and the mass legalisation of drugs, to his extreme new suicide laws and clamp downs on freedom of speech. I began my investigation in one of the country’s most liberal cities, Vancouver. Possession of up to 2.5 grams of hard drugs, including heroin, cocaine and fentanyl, has been legalised in the city as part of a three year experiment which began in January of this year. If the aim was to combat the opioid crisis that already beset the city then it appears there is still much to be done as vast tent sites line the streets, patrolled by roaming zombie-like drug addicts. As we filmed on Hastings Street, infamous as the epicentre of Vancouver’s homelessness crisis, I witnessed a topless man shoot a needle into his arm five feet from me. Though it wasn’t quite as bad as San Francisco, where my cameraman and I came under attack from angry vagrants, the scenes were still shocking. It’s not just the homeless who patrol the streets of Vancouver. Chris Elston, better known online as Billboard Chris, campaigns against the imposition of gender ideology on children, whether through Canada’s education system or via dangerous operations to “transition” young adults. As his nickname suggests, Chris walks around Vancouver wearing signs protesting gender ideology, encouraging lively debates with passers-by which he puts on YouTube. Chris kindly allowed our crew to join him on a walkabout, where we found many Canadians horrified by the use of puberty blockers in children and the promotion of biological men in women’s sports. We did encounter some opposition of course, mostly through the odd shout or flicking of the finger. So much for Canadian politeness. One aggressive gentleman, tall, ageing and angry, began a tirade against Chris with the rather bizarre singular message that he is “queer”. Part of Canada’s social revolution can also be witnessed in its extreme new euthanasia laws. In 2016, the ruling Liberal Party passed legislation enabling assisted suicide for terminally ill Canadians. Next year the legislation will be expanded to include those with mental health problems. As Christianity declines across Canada, and the liberal obsession with “bodily autonomy” and “personal freedom” reaches its logical conclusion, a new dystopia is forming. As Dr Konia Trouton, a euthanasia advocate, told me, “we are an organised society but within that organisation we have to allow some freedoms and opportunities, this is not a communist system where we can try and reign that in”. The campaign group Euthanasia Prevention Coalition estimates that 13,500 people chose state-assisted suicide last year. To prevent wokeism from spreading it is important to have a strong opposition party. Canada’s Conservatives have been historically weak in pushing back against Trudeau, however, their recently elected leader, Pierre Poilievre, has injected fresh energy into the party. Whilst there are some who still question Poillievre’s conservative credentials, his strategy seems to be working; one recent poll gave his party a twelve point lead over Trudeau’s Liberals. However, the most successful opponents to Canada’s social revolution have so far not been politicians but members of the public. Our film highlights some of these brave individuals, including Dr Jordan Peterson, perhaps the most high-profile Canadian in the world other than the country’s leader. During my travels I found ordinary people appalled at Canada’s surrender to drug dealers, its contempt for freedom of speech, its enforcement of gender ideology on children and a breezy willingness to terminate the lives of its own citizens. However, for all the depressing stories of people losing their jobs, or being hounded by the government, these cases were equally inspirational. Whilst Canada is a warning to the West, there are also individual messages of hope from those brave individuals fighting for their freedom.
