Bus Ignores Weight Limit On Bridge

If a bridge has a sign on it for the weight limit, we should probably respect that, because they are probably there for a reason. However, this bus driver thought that the sign about the weight limit of the bridge is not essential, so he decided to cross it anyway. How rude!

On October 13, 2018, in Arkansas, USA a bus driver decided to risk his life and the life of the passengers on the bus. The bus with a weight of 34 tons crossed a suspension bridge over the White River and ignored a sign which clearly showed that the limit is 10 tons.

You can see on the video that when the bus crosses the bridge, it bends and deforms from the weight. This recklessness of the driver could cause a lot of damage to the bridge and risk a lot of people’s lives.

The reason why the bridge is fragile is that it was constructed in 1949 and it is made out of wood. So, bypassing the bridge with its weight the bus could easily break the bridge in two. Some driver who was waiting along the bridge can be heard in the video honking at the bus to warn him not to cross the bridge. They were shocked by his actions, and they can be heard gasping and the video.

The video has gone viral, and now the bridge is closed by the authorities for safety reasons. The Arkansas Department of Transportation will have the bridge closed until further notice. Imagine being on that bus, how would you react? You know what they say finding a good bus driver is like finding a good musician.

The bus driver does not know how lucky he was that he is still alive and also that the passengers are not swimming with the fishes. In our opinion, the driver and company that he works for should face stiff penalties and pay for the downtime, inspections and any necessary repairs. They could've caused a lot of damage, and that kind of negligence should not pass without a punishment.

However, let’s not get to the dark side and talk about the fun side of riding the bus. For, example the school bus. All the talks, the laughs, sitting with your friends and enjoying that short time relaxing with your friends. And at the end of the day going home to your house and your parents dressed like dinosaurs. Say what? This family of dinosaurs is waiting for a girl to get off the school bus.

The girl is thrilled with excitement and starts running towards the camera, making this a game of chase. Most people would probably react the same after seeing your whole family dressed as T-rexes. The silly prank probably made her day fun an exciting after a long day at school with boring classes and math!
