President Trump To Launch Investigation Into California’s High Speed Rail

President Donald Trump is launching an investigation into California’s high speed rail project that has not seen any progress despite the ballooning cost that has spiked from $13.6 billion to $128 billion.

The president saying the project is “the worst managed project in U.S history” and vows to investigate the massive cost overruns and mismanagement, adding that with the amount of money being spent “You could give every passenger a limousine for life and still have money left over.”
Meanwhile Elon Musk says the rail project is an example of where “incompetence in the limit is indistinguishable from fraud"
On the flip side Gov. Newsom claims the project is on track - despite calling it "too expensive and unrealistic" just years ago.
