Every time we get snow in Muskoka, Hwy 11 between Huntsville and Gravenhurst gets closed because of jeet truck driver accidents. Sometimes for days. Once, it took us 12 hrs to go to Barrie and back (from Huntsville) because we had to reroute through Bala to the 400. Gravenhurst was completely taken over by rigs, snow removal stopped completely, and emergency services couldn't reach people because the roads were impassible in the town. And to make matters worse, there was a prolonged power outage at the same time. In 20 + years of listening to the scanner, I have never heard such mayhem. Fuck these people, they're a disaster and they're too fucking stupid to know it.

I got my class one 45 years ago, but never ended up using it. The funny thing is I took extra lessons to make sure I was ready before I took my test. It would never occur to me to scam my way into driving a big rig, and think of it more like getting a pilot's license; it's a huge responsibility!
