Spread the Love (and Soup!) This Valentine’s Day ❤️

Forget flowers, this year I’m showing my love with homemade heart-shaped sourdough bread bowls filled with creamy tomato soup! It’s the perfect cozy and comforting meal to share with someone special or enjoy all to yourself.

These aren’t just any bread bowls, though. The tangy sourdough adds a depth of flavor that complements the rich tomato soup perfectly. Plus, the heart shape adds a sweet touch for Valentine’s Day. Tag someone you’d like to share this with!

Tips for making your own:
* Use your regular sourdough bread recipe and divide it into 4 boules after bulk fermentation. And refrigerate over night or 12 hours.
* Right before you bake, use any heart shape cookie cutter, press gentle on each individual boule and score the outline left behind.
* Preheat the dutch oven to 450ºF. Bake for 15-20 minutes with the lid on and 10 minutes with the lid off.
* While the bread bowls are still hot use a short sharp knife to cut around the heart score and voilà! You have. A heart shaped bread bowl.
* Garnish with fresh herbs like basil, chives, or a dollop of crème fraîche for extra flair.
