Derek Prince Be Not Drunk on Alcohol But Be Filled With the Holy Spirit. Derek Prince gives us some valuable lessons about the Holy Spirit. He uses the Bible verse: Ephesians 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit. It is a sin to get drunk with Alcohol but Derek suggests it might be a sin not to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This filling of the Holy Spirit is not a one time event but we must be continually filled and refilled with him. In the parable of the Ten Virgins Derek explains all had be filled with the Holy Spirit but did not get refilled. The last point Derek Prince makes in the sermon is that Oil must be bought. The initial infilling of the Holy Spirit is a gift and its free. But if we want to stay close with the Holy Spirit there is a price we are going to have to pay.
