Chris Pritt is a passionate advocate for constitutional rights and reform in West Virginia. Chris served as the Deputy Majority Whip in the West Virginia House of Delegates, where he worked tirelessly to advocate for key legislative reforms.
Though no longer in the legislature, Chris remains deeply committed to tackling Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform and Certificate of Need Laws, two issues he believes are vital to the protection of individual freedoms and economic growth in the state.
• Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform: Chris believes that individuals should not have their property seized unless they have been criminally convicted. He has fought to ensure that no one’s rights are violated by an overreaching state, and will continue advocating for reforms to prevent unjust seizures.
• Certificate of Need Laws: Chris has long been an opponent of Certificate of Need (CON) laws, which restrict the ability of healthcare entrepreneurs to open medical facilities without government approval. He believes that these laws stifle innovation, drive up costs, and restrict access to healthcare in the state, and he is committed to pushing for their repeal.
Chris is dedicated to continuing his work on these issues and making West Virginia a more just and free place for all residents.
