This amazing video at the top of the page shows brave Makenzie Noland while she is feeding this world record Alligator, Big Tex, at Gator Country in Beaumont, Texas. He is about 14-feet long and a gentle giant as long as he likes you!"

Noland received a diploma in Nature Conservation and Fisheries.

The alligator, with whom the student was photographed, is called Big Tex. He lives in the center of animal rescue in the city of Beaumont. Along with him in the center, there are another 450 reptiles.

Noland has been practicing in this center, since May, a period during which she explained the visitors about the history, habits, and character of resident animals. Not many people would believe without seeing her, but it was as it is simply there in the video: she went into the water, approached the alligator and fed him.

Noland explains that Big Tex is responding to her name and responding to gestures as well. The girl calls the huge reptile "one of her best friends" and assures that he has never harmed her.

Arly Hammonds, the owner of the center where Big Tex lives, said that the brave student and the exceptionally large alligator made friends in just two weeks. First, Noland watched as the animal was fed. At first, she did it because of the fence that surrounds the pond where Big Tex lives, and after a while, she was allowed to go inside. Then she was allowed to go to the shore and only then go into the water.

It was Hammonds who filmed the interaction of Big Tex and Noland. Amazing, right?

When on the topic of amazing and alligators, take a look at this video where trappers remove 9-foot gator from Florida sewer.

John Ruel was walking his dog in Oldsmar, Florida, near Tampa on March 20 when he spotted a gator trying to climb out of the sewer when it got stuck. When the trapper arrived at the scene, he had to push the gator backward and then pull the reptile out through the manhole. The trapper, from the State of Florida Wildlife, responded to the scene and first carefully taped up the gator’s mouth while its head was sticking out of the sewer opening. He then pulled the gator by its tail through the manhole and eventually freed the animal.

Neighborhood resident John Ruel recorded the incident and posted the video on Facebook, featuring the animal trapper calmly rescuing the large reptile. A Florida alligator trapper struggled to extract a 9-foot gator from a sewer in Tampa, eventually pulling him out backwards through a manhole. This Florida man sure captured an unusual scene in his neighborhood that you don't see every day, this alligator was being pulled from a sewer like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles do in the cartoon.

Ruel said that the alligator was about nine feet long. He also said the trapper told him the gator would not be euthanized. The alligator is fine and expected to be relocated. Ruel said the gator was actually trying to get out of the sewer from a street level drain on Camberley Lane, when it got stuck. Residents will never walk freely in this neighborhood again!
