Jesse Duplantis Ministries Cancels Show on Daystar TV Amidst Scandal. Jesse Duplantis is a prosperity preacher who is close friends with Kenneth Copeland. Jesse Duplantis is canceling his show from Daystar TV citing he is changing with the times and it doesn’t have anything to do with the scandals at the ministries. Jesse states that he loves everyone in the Lamb family and they are all his friends. He is going to be focusing on social media and changing with the times. He seemed to indicate that regular TV is not bearing fruit for his ministry so its time to make a change. He also stated that God told him to do this. Despite appearances Jesse is not taking a stand for righteousness. He seems to be only concerned with his ministry. Jesse Duplantis tell everyone not to talk about any of this but that they should just pray instead. Its moments like this that I am embarrassed to be part of the charismatic church. Word of Faith and Prosperity gospel should be rejected although there is some truth to prosperity in the bible. Biblical prosperity can come in many forms and doesn’t come with a promise of getting rich. Jesse does not preach a gospel with Jesus at the center since money is at the center.
