I think the Merchan deal is a perfect opportunity to bring one of Trumps legal 'Problems" in to a federal jurisdiction as a national security issue. Make Merchan sit in a federal court as a plaintiff and let him argue his case on behalf of the American people as he claims.

I do not trust Mike Johnson will not trust Mike Johnson, and cannot for the life of me understand why Trump supported him. But he is who we have. And for better or worse, we’re gonna have to work with him. So work with him we will. He understands the mandate, and has an opportunity to prove himself worthy of the support he received. He should be given zero leeway when it comes to single issue spending bills, and shipping tax dollars outside the country. If he cannot prove he’s there for the American people and the US Constitution he must go! At the first mis-step he must be removed. We can no longer give second chances. Our country is burning, and time is of the essence. If he fails replace him with someone else, even if they are not a member of Congress. Sadly, I think it’s just a matter of time before Mike Johnson stabs us in the back . I would love to be wrong. Nothing would make me happier than to find out that I am incorrect on my judgment of Mike Johnson. I just don’t think it’s gonna happen. He has offered up plenty of reasons to distrust him.

At the end of the day, it is what it is. Paulie Pockets either delivers for MAGA/A1 post haste or he will be out on his phoney baloney, plastic banana, fake Christian ass. He knows that and so does everybody in the world. We'll see what happens now. I'm OK with Roy as the man on the watchtower with a bullhorn. Something about the guy (I can't explain it really) strikes me in a gut level, hair-on-the-back-of-my-neck-standing-up kinda way and I don't know that he's trustworthy on account of it. Not yet anyway. But I never trust ANYBODY from DC. So that doesn't affect very much for me. As I have been for >50 years, I will be watching the watchers. These are interesting times indeed!
