.SALVATION. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6. "If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. "But now that you have been set free from sin ... the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life" Romans 6:22. You are not saved by doing good works, just being a good person won't save you: "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-10. But, you are saved to do good works. You will do good works because you want to; not to work to gain salvation. Also evidence you are saved is when you are being lead by the spirit to live a sinless, holy life, obedient to Jesus. If you backside, confess, through Jesus, and repent. Galatians 5:19 -"... the works of the flesh (lists sins) .... that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Seek a relationship with Jesus. 49
