Today and tomorrow look to be the hottest days of this current warming trend, with the valley climbing to 103-108 degrees this afternoon and the Kern desert topping out at 105 to 115 degrees! Expect a high of 105 in Bakersfield, Lamont, Arvin and Taft with moderate air quality today and 101 in Kernville and 100 in Lake Isabella. Tehachapi climbs to 92 while Frazier Park tops out at 90 this afternoon.
