International Ethics

In this video, I discuss international ethics. There is the Catholic conception of the Law of Nations and there is what I call the Grotian conception of the Law of Nations. The latter is more secularized and the Catholic view is based on Natural Law and Revelation. Many of the principles found in the Catholic view are now in the current world order which is largely anchored in the United Nations and a number of treaties and conventions as well as international custom.
