Rafi Farber (https://endgameinvestor.substack.com/) highlights that bond yields have been rising even as the Federal Reserve is cutting interest rates, which is unusual. Historically, when the Fed cuts rates, long-term bond yields tend to fall. This phenomenon hasn't occurred since 1981, signaling that the bond market may be in a bear market. Farber suggests that the only way the Fed could halt rising bond yields is by buying up the entire bond market, similar to Japan's strategy.
