The way it was done and the time in which it was done were in implementation of biblical Law and the Jubilee system. This system has equal relevance to us today. http://www.ccg.org/weblibs/study-papers/p250.html 300 - The Golden Jubilee and the Millennium The Golden Jubilee or the Fiftieth Jubilee since the Restoration of the Temple by order of Darius in 423 and under Ezra and Nehemiah by the Jubilee of 374/3 commences on 1 Abib of the First year of the 121st Jubilee or 2028. The Jubilee ends in 2077 CE. This Jubilee is the beginning of the Seventh Millennium since the closure of the Garden of Eden and the end of the formal rule of Satan. By this date in 2027 Satan’s rule has been cut short and he will be imprisoned, with the fallen Host, in Tartarus for one thousand years.
