SCRIPTURE READING FOR TODAY
Gen 25:11

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 25:11
God blessed Isaac because He had already established “an everlasting covenant” with him. Later, God renewed the covenant with Isaac. Beer Lahai Roi means “The Well of the One Who Lives and Who Sees Me.” Notice that Isaac's life did not become a concern after the death of his father. The reasons for these are many, amongst which are: Abraham had become a seed that began to grow in his succeeding generation after his death; Abraham taught, showed and involved Isaac in the things of God when he was alive; Abraham lived a good and exemplary life before Isaac, using his faith. These are just a few of the ways that we also can be an impact in the lives of our succeeding generations. Gen 22:7-8

11 After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who settled near Beer-lahai-roi in the Negev.

7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
8 Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.

Personal Supplication
Father, let my life impact my succeeding generation NOW and even when I am long gone in good old age in Jesus' name! Gen 18:19

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!

JESUS IS LORD!
