"Do you sometimes forget important things? Yes, we all do. There is one thing that is so important that you would think it would never be forgotten, but Jesus knows how we are. For that reason, He has given us a memorial meal to remind us of the most important thing that has ever been done for us. On the night before His crucifixion, He established the ordinance of communion, investing the ancient Jewish Passover with a whole new and deeper meaning; From the very start of the Church, Christians have observed this "meal" to remind them of Jesus' love and sacrifice.
