the number of paths ive found for self-sabotage will never cease to surprise me.
One such path was taking a few deep breaths, then interacting with the world in a wholly unconscious / uncontained way and wondering why I still felt beaten up.
No number of diaphragmatic, ujjayi or aum breaths will save us if we keep throwing ourselves underwater and demanding oxygen.
I.e it’s not the tool it’s our relationship with it, within a context that we are required to commit to repetitive audits of - is this serving me?
That as our foundation, we are exploring ‘breath as the gateway to calm’ in this weeks Monday meditation on the platform now.
