Hot with scattered storms on Sunday

An area of low pressure in the northern Gulf will continue to keep an unsettled weather pattern in place on Sunday with scattered showers and storms possible across the area. While a few showers may develop in the morning near the coast, expect greater coverage of showers and storms to move inland by afternoon. Still, there will be plenty of sunshine during the day allowing temps to reach the upper 80s and low 90s. The forecast for the start of the new work week will feature a continuation of summerlike heat and daily sea breeze thunderstorm chances through the 4th of July! Rain chances will be near 50-60% each day through the end of the week. Expect highs in the low 90s and overnight lows in the mid 70s
