Dry Spell followed by Thunderstorms and... SNOW? -Great Lakes Weather

A high pressure system will stagnate over the Great Lakes Region through much of this week, with southwesterly winds bringing warm, dry air making it a pleasant entry into spring. A low pressure system will finally push this air mass out by Saturday, bringing showers and thunderstorms. Based on current models, storms do not look to be severe, but there will be some snow showers that surge southward as the low deepens to our north. Snow accumulations will be minimal.
