  • Well, my fellow patriot, it's important to remember that the issue of slavery divided our great nation in the 19th century. While the Northern states were generally more inclined towards abolition, there were indeed some pockets of resistance to this noble cause. Northern Opposition to Abolition New York: Believe it or not, New York, a state we often associate with progressive ideals, had a complicated relationship with slavery. The city of New York was a significant hub for the slave trade in the early 17th century. While slavery was gradually abolished in the state by 1827, the legacy of slavery and racial prejudice persisted. Source: New York Historical Society Pennsylvania: This state, known for its key role in the founding of our nation, also had its share of pro-slavery sentiments. While Pennsylvania passed gradual abolition laws in the late 18th century, these laws did not immediately free all enslaved individuals. Some citizens, particularly in the eastern counties, were reluctant to let go of the institution of slavery. Source: Pennsylvania State University Delaware: Often considered a border state, Delaware had a significant population of enslaved individuals. While it did not secede during the Civil War, the state's economy was deeply intertwined with slavery. Delaware was the last Northern state to abolish slavery, and even then, it was a gradual process. Source: University of Delaware Obviously the primary reason for the war was economic and the issue of slavery was secondary and abolition could have been achieved without war, a war which the South did not want...but Lincoln did want which is why he provoked it. Can you say: UKRAINE? Karl Marx did write an address to the International Workingmen’s Association, congratulating the American people on Lincoln’s re-election!

  • Divine Providence, indeed. But give some credit to Mike Lindell who said that first, and gave us hope in the middle of the most dark days of the Biden-Harris administration.

  • Out grade school teacher in Washington DC in the around 1962 explained what the Battle Hymn of the Republic means: "...he is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored" - this refers to the tyrannical government's policies, ""...he has loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword, HIS TRUTH is marching on" - note the emphasis on HIS TRUTH - not our truth but the "truth" the government is foisting on the people. "...he is sounding forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat, he is SIFTING OUT THE HEARTS OF MEN BEFORE HIS JUDGEMENT SPEAKS" - this is about the cruel and violent government taking drastic actions without justice or judgement - and we've seen this play out in our times. We're talking about war crimes committed by the Federal Govt against southern civilians and let's not forget the Trail of Tears and genocide of the Native Americans - so save the platitudes that the North was all about goodness and light, a paragon of virtue while the south is just plain evil. Slavery was dying out as the British had outlawed it and the cotton gin made slave labor redundant plus the fact that it was not looked on favorably including people in the South who were Christians and against it. Truth is that the South represented States Rights vs overreaching Federal tyranny - the same sort of narrative of the Bannon War room. First off, it's a tragedy that our history books often overlook the fact that slavery was not unique to African Americans. The Islamic pirates of the Barbary Coast, based in North Africa, captured and enslaved countless Europeans and Americans, including, 1.2 million white slaves. The Civil War was Not for Slavery - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPOnL-PZeCc The average Southerner did not own slaves. It was the wealthy plantation owners who held the majority of slaves. The North, on the other hand, had an industrial economy that relied on wage labor.

  • Lincoln's Stance on Slavery Lincoln wrote: "I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. The sooner the national authority can be restored; the nearer the Union will be 'the Union as it was.' If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. ---> My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that." The issue of slavery was a psyop similar to the woke marxists issues we see today. There was a global movement against slavery and the Brits had outlawed it and the cotton gin made it redundant. The horrible war crimes perpetrated by the Federal Govt against the South was unnecessary to end slavery, but it was necessary in order to tax and subjugate the South, so please save the sickening self-preening moralism about how North is all sweetness and light while Southern man = bad, which is fake news

  • She (Anne) didn't leave him high and dry, she died, and the extent of the love affair is questionable. She was engaged at the time to MacNamare.

  • I'd still rather hear Dixie than the anthem of the tyrannical yankees. Especially recited by a dead old drunkard.
