200+ settlements in Congress from 1997 to 2017, so not even including the last 7 years and these RINOS are throwing rocks from their little glass houses.
Naming names who've left Congress or died isn't pointless, that's what these RINOs' legacy is going to be and someone should tell them that.
Josh thought Gaetz would be recess appointed unless he withdrew, but why would he do that, it wouldn't be like him, like all of us were thinking. This was some kind of fake out IMO, that was also to stop the fake news blitz against Gaetz. One of the RINOs in charge of releasing the Ethics CMTE report when they voted not to dump it, said they might dump it anyway if Gaetz-AG goes to a vote and isn't confirmed. It wasn't going to be, and Benz said NINE R's were voting against, not just 4, that's not even close. They had to know they didn't have the votes, so what was the effect of puttin ghim up and withdrawing, which had to be pre-planned? They staved off the fake news attack on Gaetz and family. I wrote an article on it, going through the actual allegations and the media hiding the football, look for it on AT soon. They got NOTHING as far as what's public so far. Is there more that they're keeping sealed so they don't have to use up the blackmail, that I don't know, but I spend a pretty good chunk of time comparing the allegations in different news reports and I'm telling you they're NOTHING. Willing to debate this in the comments!
The other thing here is the recession, why didn't they put him in during recession if they really wanted Gaetz for AG? It's possible the left has some legal angle to challenge and delay, but I don't hear anyone asking this question or exploring it. The more I think about this, I doubt they actually Gaetz as AG. He hasn't practiced law in 8 years and he was inexperienced even then. He looks good to us because he has the talent and we know who's side he's on. But what if Bondi or whoever actually steps in is on the right side and has more experience as a lawyer and therefore more capability. Hopefully that's what we'll see.
