  • Crazy lights in the sky could be ball lightning - plasmas. Plasmas look metallic. They can move at near speed of light. They are often "coincident" with earthquakes. In WWII foo fighters appeared. Small plasmas that concerned the allies, who were bombing granite cities - piezo-electric effect causes electrical potentials. Squeeze/shock quartz see what happens. Under California are huge subduction zones. Billions of tons of quartz are being squeezed, compressed, and they can form such plasmas. The training of our pilots and "scientists" is horrible that they give these things credence.
