It would have been nice if Slow Living Jane spliced in a clip why Merchan is conflicted after the Trump quote, because it's not just conjecture: his family is generating income from his rulings, he's a Biden donor, his daughter fundraised for Kamala and he's part of some Stop-Trump group or donated to one.
