Voddie Baucham explains the simple gospel principal that the gospel message only requires is repentance and faith. He pauses after this statement on purpose to let it sink in. This gets some upset because they are asking "what about obedience?". But obedience is not what the gospel requires its what it produces. If the gospel required obedience then that would mean we could be odedient apart from the work of Christ.
