Riviera Beach police officer resigns under pressure after helping mayoral candidate

Alex Freeman wanted to become chief of police in Riviera Beach. Now, he resigned under pressure from Interim Police Chief Michael Madden. Freeman had gotten into a verbal argument with other officers when Mayoral candidate Lydia Smith called for his help.
