Saudi Arabia hit by heavy snowstorm

This could be the Eurasian Steppes, or even Mars, but this snow-blanketed winterscape is actually Saudi Arabia. The seasonal rainfall was replaced in the northern Al-Jawf region by unexpected snow and hail, causing flooding in some areas, and oddly picturesque scenes in others.
