Rare ‘ice pancakes’ spotted on Russian river

A rare weather phenomenon known as ‘ice pancakes’ has been spotted on Russia’s Titovka River. This occurs when foam floating on the river freezes, and the chunks of ice are smoothed into circles by colliding with each other.
