Post-Conditioning Pressing: Accessories

After the heavy doubles, I moved on to accessories exercises starting with lateral raises on the Lifefitness machine. These are done in more of a hypertrophy style, in 5 sets of 10+ reps, 0-1 RIR with slightly shorter rest times. Adding a bit of tissue to the side delts these past months has done wonders for my pressing specifically and shoulder health in general

Last, I just did some normal-@$$ pushups to get blood in my chest, shoulders and triceps to promote the recovery process to follow. I did 5 sets, 20+ reps with brief rest periods. The first couple were sub-maximal with the last near failure
