The Hope of all the ages now arrives! Jesus returns to the earth in power and great glory! We pray for His soon return, we long for it, we hope for it, we anticipate it. When He returns there will be no more crime, or abuse. no more wars or famines, no more floods or catastrophes. no more fighting, no more illness, no more corruption, no more political non-sense. Jesus will rule the world from the city of Jerusalem! Lord please come quickly!

When Jesus returns the 2nd time He will come in Power and Great Glory! When He returns He will return with Fire in His eyes to judge those who have rebelled against Him and refuse to repent of their sins. It will be a bloodbath. He returns in the middle of the Battle of Armageddon and ends it and all of man's rule upon the earth. He sets up His 1000 year reign upon the earth. What a glorious future we have - IF you are a committed Christian!

The Sower is anyone who shares the Word of God; the Seed is the Word of God; the Soil is the human heart. There are 3 components: Sower, Seeds, and Soils. It is an illustration of how people react to the Word of God. It is a comparison between 4 kinds of hearts: Hard heart, shallow heart, compromised heart, and a good heart. Which one are you? Even as you listen you can move from a hard heart to a good heart by how committed you will be to the Word of God.

Description: The passage today is quite stunning. It is prophetic! Just as the Jewish people were to inspect their lambs before they were offered in the Ancient Jewish Passover, so the Passover Lamb of God was also to be inspected for blemishes! The whole Mosaic sacrificial system was prophetic, it foretold of the coming redemption work of God's Lamb - Jesus our Lord. What is amazing about this is that what made the person accepted was not his own perfection, but the perfection of the sacrifice they brought. If the lamb was perfect, they would be accepted! God inspects the Lamb for defects, not you! If the Lamb is perfect, YOU are accepted! Praise God! This will change your life forever!

These things are fine pursuits but not for the motive of emotional or mental security, because those things can change so quickly and thus we're unstable. The Lord Jesus Christ will one day judge the world for all its evil. This judgement is put in agricultural terms of a Harvest. It's harvesting in all the wicked of the earth to be judged by God Almighty. Jesus will be the judge, the angels will be the executioners, swinging the sickle to cut down all those who are not Born-Again and who have rejected the Lord. This will happen one day! But before it does, the Love and Grace of God calls all people to turn to Him and be saved!

He will certainly come back! For us who are followers of Jesus His return is our greatest joy, motivation, and hope! His return brings us the greatest hope in this life!

The Apostle Peter continues to warn of the dangers of false teaching and false teachers. He states that we can know them by their character, their creed, and their conduct. One of the sneaky ways a false teacher is discovered in churches is when they MIX truth and error; MIX good and Bad; Bible doctrine and man's doctrine. This “mixing” is what is extremely subtle and dangerous. We must become so familiar with the TRUTH that the moment we hear or see error it will raise caution in our hearts and minds. The Church needs a real good dose of discernment in the days we live in!

We often hear about living well, but are we ready to die well? Preparing for death sounds like a morbid thing, but it really is the wisest, smartest thing anyone could ever do. If one is not prepared to die they cannot fully live. Christianity promises and prepares for a glorious death. We all will one day die, and as Jesus said, what will it profit us if we gain the whole world and lose our own soul? It is not how one starts a race that counts, but how he finishes. Let’s run the race that we may win!

Mecca is currently the religious capital of the world. "The Line" on the Saudi west coast will probably be the commercial capitol of the world within the next 10 years. Those cities will eventually be destroyed.
