WE continue to look at the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church. It is the Spirit of God through the people of God that builds the House of God to the Glory of God. When we yield by faith to the power of the Holy Spirit he gives us qualities and enhancements to the God given abilities within us to help others become mature in Christ. The Spiritual gifts are found in the Bible - they can be abused and misused. We seek to learn the proper exercise thereof.

The Great Tribulation is now happening and God releases four demon creatures to make war with humanity. They kill one-third of all mankind. Unimaginable! By this time in the Great Tribulation, half of the earth's population will be killed. Revelation 9 is perhaps the most frightening chapter in the Revelation, and yet the worst is still to come. God's wrath is being poured out on the earth because of its iniquity.

1 Corinthians 12

The 5th Trumpet is blown in heaven and all hell breaks loose on earth! This is indeed Great Tribulation time! There is no horror story more horrific than Revelation 9, when demon creatures are released from the abyss and torment humanity for 5 months. The pain will be so intense that men will seek to commit suicide and not be able to. This is a warning for everyone to turn away from their sins and follow Jesus. It is also a wake-up call to Christians to continue to pray for and share God's truth and to warn as many as possible of what is to come.

The Lord desires that all of us come to maturity, the work of the Spirit is to bring you into the image of Jesus. The Spirit empowers us to be a witness in our life and seals us as a guarantee of the final redemption.

Jesus said He would send 'the Promise of the Father' to those who believed in Him. This first took place on the day of Pentecost. It is possible to neglect the person and work of the Holy Spirit as we see in the Church in Sardis (Rev. 3:1). We need the fulness, the power, the guidance, the influence of the Spirit of God like never before!

The Lord listens in to the conversations that people have about Him. Those who fear Him and meditate on His name are written in a Book! God loves you so much that He records it every time you think or talk about Him! He will spare you from the judgement of the wicked in that great day of the Lord!
