Dopamine: role in mental health is as a famous reward
transmitters...
-dopamine imbalances associated with mental disorders
like: depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia
Dopamine regulates energy expenditure & appetite
When dopamine low, people more inclined to eat foods
that are sugary & fatty or starchy

Dopamine: when blocked by meds, can reduce insulin
sensitivity and lead to IR...even if not gaining weight
-it directly stimulates thermogenesis of brown fat by
-increasing uncoupling
-at white fat cells [most of fat storage] activates lipolysis

3-Norepinephrine, also known as noradrenaline
