Summary:
In our final installment of How to Study Your Bible, we examine the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 to learn that there’s another mystery. Sixty-nine weeks were fulfilled when Christ was crucified; the final or 70th week was postponed, and God introduced the dispensation of grace. There is a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and 70th week. When this is understood, the Bible will come alive for you like never before.

Takeaway:
Now we know another reason for a 2,000-year gap called the dispensation of grace. God put the national salvation program of Israel on hold when they rejected Christ. Messiah was cut off, and 483 of the 490 years of prophecy, or 69 of the 70 weeks, was fulfilled. God awaits Israel’s confession and then will begin the 70th week. The church of the dispensation of grace will be removed in the rapture, for this is the time of Jacob’s Trouble. By rightly dividing the Word of Truth, we can understand God’s plan of salvation for every dispensation.
