The stars like Sirius, Vega or Methuselah should not be visible in the night sky. 5. Telescope magnification increase the angular size of the object but reduces the lux level to the rods and cones of our eyes. 6. If the telescope reduces the lux level on magnification, but makes the star visible then it means that the star is not dim but small in angular size. 7.
