Biden Tells 'The View' Hosts He Always Planned To Only Stay For One Term (Really? Roll Tape!)

Posted • September 25, 2024: In a "too little too late" move, President Biden's handlers figured out a way to make sure Joe comes across as the smartest guy in the room when they had him do an interview with ABC hosts with IQs that wouldn't be exceeding the speed limit on federal highways. That show is of course "The View." One thing that struck me is that the Harris campaign won't be thrilled that the president Kamala's trying to distance herself from again tightly tied his VP to the kinds of policies that have made Americans' lives worse: BIDEN: "As Vice President, there wasn't a single thing that I did that she couldn't do and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy." Joe is Kamala. Kamala is Joe. https://rumble.com/v5gbzrh-joe-biden-shows-up-on-the-view-to-kneecap-harris-threaten-trump-and-bask-in.html -- Thanks for the reminder, Joe! Maybe that'll end up in a Trump ad.

Let history note that the loudest applause for Joe Biden came when he said he was leaving politics forever. https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1838961230108655617/pu/vid/avc1/720x406/cKkTGAvMR2aiRdUi.mp4 -- Perhaps the biggest whopper Biden served up for "The View" dingbats to savor was when he claimed serving just one term was always his intention: Biden now claims he was always planning to only serve one term: “I saw myself as a transition president.” https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1838971159552933888/pu/vid/avc1/720x406/M85-ko1Whk3JLmv9.mp4 -- Well, Biden certainly was a "transition president," because he transitioned a good economy into a crappy one and a secure border into a "feel free to enter illegally" welcome mat. They certainly hope everybody's stupid. Just a matter of weeks ago it was quite clear that Biden had no intention of not running for reelection:

Joe Biden @JoeBiden: “Trump is not running to lead America. He’s running for revenge. But you can’t build a future on revenge. I’m running to lead America into the future.” -- Biden's campaign chair in July: He's not going anywhere: "Absolutely the president is in this race, you've heard him say that time and time again… He is the best person to take on Donald Trump." - Biden Campaign Chair Jen O'Malley Dillon. Biden himself said this summer that only "the Lord almighty" could get him to leave the race: Biden: "If the Lord Almighty came down and said, 'Joe, get out of the race,' I'd get out of the race, but the Lord Almighty's not comin' down."

Here's Biden on July 5th, insisting he's staying in the race: Biden: "Well, let me say this as clearly as I can. I'm staying in the race. I'll beat Donald Trump. I will beat him again in 2020. Oh, by the way, we're going to do it again. 2024. I learned long ago, when you get knocked down, you get back up and I'm not letting one 90-minute debate wipe out three and a half years of work. As the governor said, I've led this nation from the dep -- dep -- depths of the pan -- depths of the pandemic to the strongest economy in the world, and that's literally true. I and you are not finished yet. You probably also noticed a lot of discussion about my age. I know I look 40. I keep seeing all of those stories about I'm being too old. Let me say something. If I was too old, I wasn't -- I wasn't too old to create over 15 million new jobs…"

Now Joe's saying it was always his intention to stay for only one term? That's hilarious. But then again, Biden does nothing but lie so there's no huge surprise here.
