First Chris Reed Resigns and now Rick Joyner Might Be Next to Resign at Morningstar Ministries. In just a few days, a Morningstar ministries student-led grassroots movement has gained significant momentum, with well over 100 people already signing a petition demanding Rick Joyner resignation and a third-party investigation into the ministry. Separate from the three ongoing lawsuits, former students—some dating back to 1993—are no longer staying silent about their personal experiences of abuse and cover-up within the ministry. They are standing in solidarity with the victims, drawing from their own troubling encounters. The signature include many people from Morningstar including: former grade school students, ministry school students, staff members, interns, conference speakers, worship leaders, worship team members, a varsity coach, and ministry volunteers.

Morningstar ministries has had a lot of drama recently. A volunteer youth leader was found guilty of SA with several youth. He was found guilty on several charges and was handed a 9 year prison sentence. But this is now leading to three separate civil lawsuits against the ministry. Leaving its future in doubt. This is on top of Chris Reed resignation because of a Roys Report article that showed his sexual misconduct for a former ministry student. Chris Reed then released a video saying Rick Joyner was bringing Todd Bentley back into the ministry. For those of you who don’t know Rick Joyner is he started Morningstar ministries in South Carolina. They are an end times /prophetic ministry that has a school of ministry and a church. Rick Joyner is also a best selling author who wrote books like the Final Quest and the Harvest. I do not see any way Rick Joyner survives this. His departure is long overdue at this point. Morningstar ministries is probably in jeopardy as well and its future remains in doubt.
