As war in Yugoslavia seemed inevitable in the early 90s, Croatia's national railway set up a plan to hasty convert one of its diesel locomotives to an armored train. Build to liberate occupied areas of the country, in the end it was never used and today lays forgotten in an active train yard. - As Yugoslavia played its neutral role in the Cold War, it received numerous military equipment from NATO and the Soviets. The T-55 was the most widespread tank in the Yugoslav army and was heavily used by bought sides during the 90s Balkan war. In the postwar years, many of those were disabled and placed as memorials across the entire country.
