Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 9-18-24 – Fourth Turning Status

The Fourth Turning has been a source of fascination to me for a number of years. As such I’ve referenced it several times in different contexts. My two major discussions on this subject were in Prophecy Updates in 2021 under the title 4th Turning Crises & Climax and in 2022 in my effort titled The Fourth Turning Collapse.

In 1997 the book The Fourth Turning – What the Cycles of History Tell Us About America’s Rendezvous with Destiny, by authors William Strauss and Neil Howe, was published. A subsequent volume The Fourth Turning is Here by Neil Howe (following the death of Strauss), released mid-2023, considered the predictions made in the original book from the perspective some 25 years later with our nation actually being in the midst of the stated Fourth Turning.

What I’d like to briefly do today is quickly review what a Fourth Turning is, note the various predictions made by the authors for such a time as this, and then bring my own Biblical and prophetic understanding into the picture by attempting to gauge where we are in this crucial cycle of history regarding the predictions. This of course will be in relation to our descent into the rapidly approaching 7-year Tribulation.
