In Springfield, Ohio, a town of 60,000 is overwhelmed by the sudden influx of 20,000 Haitian immigrants, a direct result of the Biden administration's controversial CHNV parole program. Local residents recount disturbing incidents—pets being killed, reckless driving that took a child's life, public urination, and a social services system pushed to the brink. Fear and frustration are growing, with some residents considering arming themselves for protection as they feel abandoned by the government.

The CHNV program, launched in January 2023, has paroled over 404,000 inadmissible aliens into the U.S., with no legal basis for their entry. Congressional investigations revealed that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas refused to comply with repeated requests for data, leading to a subpoena in August 2023. Mayorkas was later impeached in February 2024 for high crimes and misdemeanors, accused of defying the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and using the CHNV program to unlawfully release immigrants into the country.

As more than 1.6 million inadmissible aliens await travel authorizations, communities like Springfield are left to deal with the consequences. With tensions rising and safety concerns growing, the call for accountability is louder than ever. Will the government act before it's too late?
