Woman forced to leave home after migrants begin squatting on her lawn

A woman in Springfield, Ohio has been driven from her home of 45 years due to homeless migrants camping on her lawn. In a video shared online, the woman was seen giving an emotional plea to city officials, describing the hopeless situation she and her husband found themselves in, following an influx of around 20,000 Haitian migrants to the area, which has almost doubled the town’s population.

The woman and her husband have now been forced to flee their home, over fears for their safety. ‘I don’t know what you expect us to do as citizens,’ she told the council. ‘I want out of this town.’
