Exodus 34:23 "Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.
Coming together for these three feasts went a long way for the Israelites to maintain their unity as they celebrated these special times together. It wasn’t easy for those who lived far away from Jerusalem to attend because traveling was difficult and some- times dangerous. The feasts were enjoyable to the people and the feasts kept the Lord in their minds and they gave Him gratitude for all He was doing for them.
The feasts were the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Harvest or Pentecost was to be celebrated 50 days after the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Feast of the Ingathering or also known as Booths.
24) "For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders, and no man shall covet your land when you go up three times a year to appear before the LORD your God.
The promises stated in this verse was predicated on the assumption that the people would be obedient to the Lord.
