AR-0097: A low-rent but seriously goofy in the humour department gore comedy about a trio of enterprising scuzzballs who murder random women and use their remains to help prop up their respective diner and funeral home businesses, although their best-laid plans end up tanking when they waste the secretary of a local private eye...

Believe it or not, this film originally had some real-life surgical footage spliced into the kill scenes, making it the absolute goriest movie of its day, but when Ted V. Mikels bought the film, he cut out the surgical footage [possibly so as not to ruin the effectiveness of his own movie at the time [The Corpse Grinders] which he was planning to have this movie play backup to at the drive-in, resulting in a gore movie seriously emasculated and thus forced to rely on its nasty humour to get by, which doesn't get it very far.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]

Note to the Americans reading this: in case you're wondering why I spelt 'humour' that way instead of 'humor', it's because I'm Australian and that's how we spell that word. If you disagree, go find an Aussie dictionary and kick its ass...
