He reminded him that doubt is the opposite of faith and that it's important to reject the lies and embrace the promise that God has made to all of us. We are all redeemable. Stay focused on what is important in life. For Alan, his spiritual journey is to be closer to God. The closer you come to God and develop a relationship with Him and His son, the less power evil has over you.
