Essentially, it refers to falsely claiming military service rank or recognition or even someone else's identity. It's considered a crime because in 2005, legislation called the Stolen Valor Act made it a misdemeanor to lie about earning any kind of military medal or honor, including wearing, manufacturing, or selling any medal without legal authorization. The reasoning behind this legislation was to prevent fraudulent claims regarding the receipt of military honors, which damage the reputation and significance of such decorations. Penalties for these actions included fines and imprisonment. However, in 2012, the Supreme Court declared this legislation unconstitutional as it infringed upon the 1st Amendment rights of freedom of speech. Dr. Weston, who is also a retired Army First Sergeant, mentioned that the military lives by the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. He had a special guest lined up, Major General Patrick Brady, the most highly decorated living veteran and author of "Dead Men Flying." Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, they were not able to connect with Major General. One thing that really stood out to Alan in reading the bio of the MG was the following statement, "I cannot emphasize enough the role my faith played in any success I have had." This prompted Alan to look up the "Warrior's Code," which details what it takes to live honorably.

These things you did, you did for your own benefit, and you used my name. Get out of my sight, you and your wicked ways.'" There are so many false Christians and wicked people who will throw all kinds of verses and chapters at you to justify for their own benefit. The importance of understanding the true intent behind reading religious scriptures, is to encourage introspection and a deeper connection to one's spiritual journey. The more you grasp the depth of God's grace, the more you realize that He has been eagerly waiting for your moment of realization your entire life. It's an exhilarating revelation!
