Russian flag unfurled at Battle of Kursk Memorial

Members of the United Russia party, the Brotherhood Corps and the United Russia Young Guard gathered at the memorial complex to the Battle of Kursk to mark National Flag Day on Thursday. The participants unfurled the Russian tricolor to celebrate the date.

The head of the regional executive committee of the United Russia party, Yevgeni Maslov, commented on the important symbolism of the Russian flag, stressing that said it represents the nation’s ‘purity, loyalty and bravery’.
