Dramatic dash cam video from the Sauk Co Sheriff’s Office shows a shootout with suspect Jeffrey Miller on July 23.

Deputies said they tried to pull Miller over, he drove away and eventually crashed. Miller got out to run away and opened fire. One deputy was grazed by a bullet but has since recovered from his injuries.

Miller got away but was found several days later holed up in a home in Amherst, WI. He refused to exit the home and, after a standoff, authorities say he died by suicide.
