I'm not sure if Miss Piggy took offense at the bacon remark and got involved here or not, but now, the police in Great Britain are arresting people for calling someone a muppet. No, I am not kidding. 🚨 A man has been arrested in the UK for calling someone a 'muppet.' The Police are out of control. I wish this was a joke. It isn't. Absolute insanity. —— As usual with videos like these, I begin with a skeptical eye and wonder if something else might have happened. But as the police themselves stated, yes, they are charging a man simply because he called someone Kermit the Frog. But last year, Americans saw what the left wanted to do to the country, what they had been doing for the prior four years, and roundly rejected it. In the UK's 2024 election, they chose poorly and stupidly. There is still a sliver of hope for the United Kingdom. It's in Nigel Farage and the Reform Party. It is in the 'Raise the Colours' movement. It is in Lola, the Young Queen of Scots. But if those people and movements are not successful, and quickly, there is no hope for the UK. This action delivers on our promise to the American people – to fight for Americans in the international system, protect our national sovereignty, and prevent international bureaucrats from shaping U.S. domestic policies. In 2024, the World Health Assembly (WHA) adopted amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) that significantly expanded the World Health Organization's (WHO) authority over international public health responses. Developed without adequate public input, these amendments expand the role of the WHO in public health emergencies, create additional authorities for the WHO for shaping pandemic declarations, and promote WHO's ability to facilitate "equitable access” of health commodities. These amendments have undue influence on our domestic health responses from WHO directives. They also fail to adequately address the WHO's susceptibility to the political influence and censorship - most notably from China - during outbreaks. These amendments were set to become binding on the United States regardless of our withdrawal from the WHO. Terminology throughout the 2024 amendments is vague and broad, risking WHO-coordinated international responses that focus on political issues like solidarity, rather than rapid and effective actions. The amendments also suggest that countries develop capabilities that jeopardize management and dissemination controls over public health information, potentially stifling valuable scientific debate. Furthermore, these revisions compel countries to adopt digital health documents. Our Agencies have been and will continue to be clear: we will put Americans first in all our actions and we will not tolerate international policies that infringe on Americans' speech, privacy, or personal liberties. The UK government has reportedly ordered Apple to create a backdoor to access encrypted iCloud backups, giving security officials worldwide access without notifying users. This secret order, based on the UK’s 2016 Investigatory Powers Act, demands blanket access to end-to-end encrypted files from all iCloud users, not just British ones. In response, Apple may stop offering its Advanced Data Protection service in the UK. However, this wouldn’t satisfy the UK’s demand. Apple can appeal, but it can’t delay the order’s implementation. From 2020 right up until now in some provinces, Canadians across our country have been subjected to gross violations of our Charter rights, under the justification of reducing the effect of a supposed pandemic.
