The book of Proverbs opens up in the first chapter speaking from the perspective of Wisdom. She was given to the children of Israel by the Most High Himself (YAH) who chose them to be His people, but the Israelites did not give heed to her. As punishment for their rejection of wisdom, YAH has cast the Israelites out of their land into the lands of their enemies. Wisdom is the fear of YAH -- wisdom is the Law of YAH and YAH will be merciful to those who return to wisdom. What's said in Jeremiah 33:10-11 directly reverses what's said in Jeremiah 16:9, praise YAH!
